Emma Carlson has her B.Sc Hons (Behavioural Neuroscience) from Simon Fraser University and MA (Counselling Psychology) from University of British Columbia. Currently, she works as a clinical therapist with a youth suicide prevention team, providing therapy to high risk school aged kids. Always looking for ways to encourage their clients to embrace their inner weird, she uses D&D and tabletop RPGs to foster improved social engagement, increase coping skills, promote distress tolerance, improve problem solving, and remind her clients that it's ok (and normal!) to have fun. Email Emma if you'd like to discuss this topic with her.
